Terry Shaw and Sharon Harding Shaw, Harding Nursery | Hall of Fame Award

Sharon and Terry have spent decades leading Harding Nursery, a 69-year, multi-generational family business. Their legacy began with Sharon’s father, Billie Harding, a 1996 Hall of Fame inductee, and now continues with their daughter Kristen and her husband Chad, along with their son Dustin, now playing significant roles within the company.

Both served CNGA Board of Directors and are long-time, active supporters of the association. Known for their hospitality and leadership, they consistently bring the industry together.
Education is a cornerstone of their impact. Sharon and Terry are CCNPs (certified in 1987 and 1989) and strong supporters of the CNGA certification program, regularly hosting CCNP classes and employing five CCNPs.

Through their leadership and family involvement, Harding Nursery has expanded beyond Colorado Springs to growing operations in Calhan, Colorado, and northern Idaho - strengthening the future of the industry.

Jeremy Friedman, Blooma Farms | Person of the Year

During a year of significant disruption in Colorado’s green industry, Jeremy Friedman stepped forward with leadership and vision when it was most needed. Through Blooma Farms’ purchase of a portion of the former Welby greenhouses, Jeremy ensured continuity in the young plant and liner market while strengthening Colorado’s presence locally and nationally.

Beyond this investment, Jeremy has been an active industry leader - supporting CSU Trial Days, enhancing Colorado Destination Day, joining the CNGA Board and stepping up this year to be on the executive committee, and collaborating across all segments of the green industry. His commitment to innovation, partnership, and long-term industry health makes him a clear choice for Person of the Year.
