Fall 2021 CCNP Seminar Series: Denver

CNGA’s Colorado Certified Nursery Professional (CCNP) program promotes high quality standards and professionalism for the Colorado nursery industry. Managing or working in a nursery requires an in-depth knowledge of plant identification, physiology, soil, pruning and other nursery growing elements. These seminars provide an in depth study of common nursery plant identification as well as basic landscape design concepts and practice.

Certification provides the knowledge and tools that can add value to your professional development, while also benefiting your company and your customers. Individuals holding this certification are uniquely trained and have the highest level of industry knowledge. The seminars are recommended to prepare for the exam, but can also be taken 'a la carte' as refresher courses or to advance your horticulture education. Learn more about certification here.

If you wish to become certified, you will be required to take and pass an exam (minimum 75% score). You will also have to complete an exam application that documents at least 2,000 hours of verifiable employment with a Colorado registered greenhouse, garden center, contractor or an allied industry.
